【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedbyproducers,users,andgeneralinterestpartiesforresearchanddevelopmentorqualitycontrolwork,andisusefulforthecomparisonofsieves.Becausethereferencematerialx2019;sparticlesizedistributionwillaffecttheacceptancetolerance,theusershoulddetermineanacceptancetolerancebasedontheirspecificreferencematerial.1.1ThistestmethodisaperformancetestforacceptanceofU.S.Standardtestsieves.ItisanalternativemethodforcheckingtheaccuracyandlongtermreliabilityoftestsievesbyotherthantheuseofSpecificationE11inspectionmethods.Sinceitisnotpossibletoadjustthemeasuringcapabilityofatestsieve,themethodisdesignedtoofferaverificationprocedurebasedonsievingperformance,bycomparisontoastandardreference.ThismethodisnotproposedasanalternativetotheinspectionmethodsinaccordancewithSpecificationsE11,E323,E454,E674ortheproceduresinManual32toconfirmsievecompliancethereto.1.2Thistestmethodcomparestheperformanceofasieveagainstacalibrationsieve,usingaknownquantityofreferencematerialsuchthatthelong-termstabilityofsievescanbemeasured.Thistestmethoddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
