【摘要】:1.1ThisguideprovidesproceduresfortheinstallationofDWVpipinginbuildingsthatarebuiltwheresoilconditionsrequiretheuseofpierorpilingsupportedgradebeamconstructionorinfilledgroundwherethesoilcompactionislessthan95%.TheseproceduresareintendedtoensurethattheDWVpipingsuspendedfromtheongradeconcreteslabsisnotdamagedordestroyedbymovementofthesoilorfillundertheslabafterthebuildingiscompletedandoccupied.1.2Inthistypeofconstruction,theareawithinthegradebeamsisfilledwithsoiluptoalevelthatallowstheconcreteslabtobepoureddirectlyonthefillwithoutasupportingform.Inthisprocessthesanitarywastepipingisinstalledbytrenchingintothefill,andthenputtinghangerswithsupportrodsonthepipesastheyareinstalled.Thehangerrodsextendingupwardmustbelongenoughsothatthetopoftherodwillbeembeddedinandanchoredintheconcrete.1.3Thehangerrodsareintendedtoprovideadequatestrengthandcorrosionresistancetoassurelongtermservice.1.4Thedetailsofinstallationareintendedtoensurethattherodsremainvertical,thattheyextendintotheconcreteanadequateamountandthattheupperendsareterminatedsothattheyhaveadequate"pullout"strength.1.5Thedetailsofbackfillareintendedtolimitorminimizetheloadsontheasuspendedpiping.Theseloadsresultfromconsolidationormovementofthesoil/fillbeneaththeslab.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
