【摘要】:ThistestmethodcoversproceduresforthemeasurementoftheimpactresponsepropertiesofathleticshoesusingProcedureAofTestMethodF1614.Thistestmethodislimitedtotestsusingafallingweightimpactmachine,asdefinedbyProcedureAofTestMethodF1614.Thistestmethodisintendedforuseontheheelandorforefootregionsofwhole,intactathleticshoecushioningsystems.Anathleticshoecushioningsystemisdefinedasallofthelayersofmaterialbetweenthewearer'sfootandthegroundsurfacethatarenormallyconsideredapartoftheshoe.Thismayincludeanyofthefollowingcomponents:outsoleorotherabrasionresistantlayer,amidsoleorothercompliantcushioninglayer,aninsole,insoleboard,orothermateriallayeroverlyingthemidsole,partsoftheupperandheelcounterreinforcementwhichextendbeneaththefoot,andaninsockorothercushioninglayerinsidetheshoe.Thistestmethodisnotintendedforuseasatestofshoesclassifiedbythemanufactureraschildren'sshoes.Thetype,sizeordimensionsandthicknessofthespecimen,andthereferencemaximumenergyappliedshallqualifytestresultsobtainedbythistestmethod.Nominalspecimenthicknessvaluesforthistestmethodareintherangefrom10to60mm(0.4to2.4in.).Theareaoftheshoetobetestedmustpresentanapproximatelycircular,flatsurfaceofatleast65mm(2.6in.)indiameterforimpacting.Thestandardvalueforthereferencemaximumenergyappliedbythistestmethodis5J(44.2in.-lbf)forshoeswhicharesubjecttomoderateimpactsduringnormaluseand7.0J(61.9in.-lbf)forshoeswhicharesubjecttohighimpactsduringnormaluse.Othervaluesmaybeused,iftheyarestatedinthereport.Thistestmethodisnotappropriateformeasuringtheimpactresponseofshoesthatarenotsubjectedtomoderateimpactorhighimpactinnormaluse.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
